You must be at least 18 years old to rent a boat in Florida. You may operate a boat at 14 years old. Passengers may be any age.
In order to operate a motorboat of ten (10) horsepower or greater, Florida law requires anyone who was born on or after Jan. 1, 1988 to successfully complete an approved boating safety course and obtain a Boating Safety Education Identification Card issued by the FWC. To obtain a Florida approved temporary certificate, use the link below.

No, you cannot go offshore. You must stay on the Intracoastal Waterway and Biscayne Bay within 20 miles of our location.
Sales tax is 7%. Fuel is variable and done similar to a rental car. You can prepay a set amount based on the boat and length of your rental, refill it yourself at the fuel station in our marina or pay us on a per gallon used basis at return.
Boat security deposit are $1500 for 2 hour - 8 hour rentals and $3000 for multi-day rentals, accepted as cash or card (credit or debit).
Cash deposits are returned at the end of the rental as cash. Card deposits are returned at the end of the rental, but may take 3-5 business days to be reflected on your account. If necessary we can usually assist in an immediate release
99% of our customers receive a full refund of their deposit. Deposit charges on boat rentals are most commonly propeller related caused by operating in shallow waters (outlined in the visual cruising guide and GPSs). Using common sense, listening to instructions, operating safely, and maintaining safe distances and water depths are smart ways to ensure a fun, yet safe, rental with no unfortunate complications.

We provide all necessary safety and boating equipment. You will need to provide your own provisions (food and drink) and water toys. We do provide 1 cooler per boat and ice can be purchased on location from the marina or deli.
Yes, we will provide you with a cooler and you can purchase ice on location. We do not cater or sell any food or drinks.
There is a Publix grocery store 2x block away (walkable distance), there is a Deli / Market store on location, and there are two restaurants on location that you can get food to-go from.
Yes, however, there is ZERO tolerance for the driver. It is ILLEGAL and a FEDERAL OFFENSE to operate a boat while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. You are risking a BUI (Boating Under the Influence) arrest, if you drink and drive, and a loss of your security deposit. Others who are of legal age, may consume RESPONSIBLY.
You are permitted on the Intracoastal Waterway and in the Biscayne Bay within 20 miles of our location. The popular destinations are highlighted on our destination page.
Prior to going out, we will provide you with a map and a local area briefing. Tell us what you want to do and see and we will show you where to go and how to get there. Our boats are equipped with GPS and depth finders to help with navigation and we encourage our guests to download a marine GPS app on their phones. We send beginners out regularly without issue using these tools.
We do not provide tubes, waterskis, wakeboards or any other water toys. You would need to bring your own or rent them from another company locally.
